Eaton's VEH EMB eMobility division is currently seeking a Lead Analyst Financial Planning.
What you'll do:
Perform month-end processes, including timely preparation, completion, and submission of local closing packages and commentaries.
Build and maintain a monthly financial reporting package, including finance metrics trends and performance, for presentation to local management teams.
Coordinate with department leaders for monthly expense tracking, periodic forecasts, and annual profit planning.
Analyze and contribute to the accurate development of labor and burden rates, as well as participate in the annual cost roll for the facility.
Prepare and present financial information to external users and audit teams.

Prepare special costing analysis for potential new product introductions and profitability analysis, and lead financial activities in cost-out initiatives.
Participate and support facility lean initiatives, with a focus on process improvement within the finance role.
Prepare and coordinate the loading of information in business systems.
Lead automation and streamlining of financial reporting and budget procedures, aiming to implement best practices.
Develop and present information for mergers, acquisitions, production line transfers, or other business decisions when applicable.
Coordinate the yearly inventory physical count and monthly cycle count programs, and participate in capital investment analysis, including fixed asset inventories.
Perform cost accounting activities, analyze purchase price variances, review inventory transactions, and calculate reserves.
EHS Responsibilities:
Separate hazardous waste from common waste.
Properly dispose of hazardous waste in assigned containers.
Maintain a clean work area free of contaminants.
Conserve water and report any activities that may jeopardize safety and the environment.
Identify and properly dispose of chemicals that may contaminate the environment.
Ensure correct containers for the disposal of hazardous waste.
Report the entry of new chemicals required for maintenance purposes and ensure correct handling.
Contain and repair oil spills as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance-related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Competencies: Understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls. Knowledge of Mexican and US GAAP. Cost accounting knowledge. Experience with SAP ERP system, preferably ENCORE. Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros, and charting.
