Inventory Control- Warehouse
Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Inventory Control- Warehouse. At Eaton's Perth, Ontario distribution center and manufacturing site, we are a dynamic team of 100+ who work tirelessly to deliver top-notch products and services while prioritizing safety, collaboration and digitization. The hourly rate for this position is $19.44- $29.16 per hour.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Reporting to the warehouse team leader the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our inventory storage systems to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management principles, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for identifying opportunities for storage optimization.

What will you do?
Planning: Support the cycle count program while conducting root cause analysis on frequent offenders to identify and address issues. Support in the monthly cleanup of E&O material as requested by the planning team. This includes gathering, reporting, and distributing the product out of inventory. Creation of various report out presentations across all cross functional team members (weekly, monthly & yearly).
Warehousing organization: Review materials in multiple locators and consolidate them into dedicated locators to improve organization and efficiency. Review underutilized locators and reassign the space to high-volume items to optimize storage. Maintain an effective process and storage solution to handle overstock. Synchronize location information in WMS with actual warehouse conditions. Remove labels from locators that do not exist in WMS and properly label those that do.
Inventory Management: Manage Perth's manual material transactions across all departments along with coordination of third-party inventory programs, Perth currently has inventory in three different facilities that we manage. Troubleshooting of inventory discrepancy issues and correct system setups if they contribute to BOH (Balance on Hand) inaccuracy.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Highschool diploma or GED.
• 1 year+ experience with Computer competency (Microsoft 365 programs).
• 1 year+ of experience in materials, inventory, or a warehouse environment.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred qualifications:
• 1 plus year Experience with a WMS and an ERP system (Sterling & Oracle).
• 1 plus year Experience driving a reach truck.
• 1-year post-secondary Education related to inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills. You will be able to understand product flow and inventory location setup to ensure that items are placed in proper locations within the warehouse.
Good problem solving, along with the proven ability to use computers and various types of software are highly valued. A background in making data driven decisions will serve you well.
