What you'll do:

Eaton's Electrical Sector, Americas Power Controls Systems (PCS) division is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our CPDI (Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure) Services team.

This position is scheduled to start in January 2026.

The hourly range for this role is $20-$25 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Position Overview
This internship offers hands-on experience in safety program administration, contractor management, and operating system support, with a particular emphasis on Salesforce. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and operational excellence as well as Gain practical experience in safety program administration, contractor management, and digital system support. Key Responsibilities
Safety Program Support:
• Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of CPDI safety initiatives.
• Help maintain safety records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections, reporting findings and supporting corrective actions.
Contractor Management:
• Support the onboarding and qualification process for contractors, including documentation review and system entry.
• Assist with contractor safety training coordination and tracking.
• Help monitor contractor performance and compliance with safety policies.
Operating System Support (Salesforce):
• Provide administrative support for the Salesforce operating system as it relates to safety and contractor management.
• Update and maintain records, generate reports, and troubleshoot basic user issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system workflows for safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field).
• This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120 kms of Toronto, ON, Canada.
• No sponsorship provided. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is an asset.
• Strong interest in safety management, contractor relations, and digital systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, and willingness to challenge status quo.
