We are currently looking for a Field Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Greece. In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and drive growth in the utilities market.
What you'll do:
The role is for an electrical engineer that will be part of the Sales team, dealing with promotion, sales, and technical support of Medium and High Voltage products, manufactured in the Americas and APAC and delivered to electrical network operators, contractors, traders, and large industrial facilities in EMEA region.
The engineer will be requested to follow intense training activities through actual work so that, in the shortest possible time,
- Provide first line of application, technical support and troubleshooting for offered solutions
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of Electrical Transmission and Distribution systems (HV & MV), Network Protection and Power Quality, and an excellent knowledge of the company's MV & HV product portfolio and their application in the MV and HV electrical networks in EMEA region.
- Review Utilities' Technical Specs, process and submit complex quotations.
- Coordinate with the rest of the team, Product Groups in the US and China, Legal and Credit to assure proper submission of Utility Tenders within the specified time frames and further necessary action to turn opportunities into orders.
- Prepare and submit the complete technical design packages and support approvals by consultants/end customers.
- Manage product prequalification and homologation to Electrical Utilities, Industrial customers, EPCs, etc.
- Perform promotional and educational technical presentations for product application and technology to electrical utility experts
- Availability to travel in any country in Europe, Middle East, Africa, US, and China, and deal with people of different cultural backgrounds, respecting their social customs, rules, and way of life.
- Work closely with the rest of the team to develop value proposition based on in-depth analysis of customer specific needs and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
- Experience in a similar role and industry is preferred.
Skills:
- Fluent in English, additional languages will be considered
- Electrical Engineer, preferably with studies in Power and Telecommunication
- MS Office
