Eaton's Aerospace sector, Fluid and Electrical Distribution division, is currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team on 3rd Shift. This position is based at our Beltsville, MD facility.
Core shift hours for this position will be Monday-Friday from 11:00PM-7:00AM.

In this function you will:
- Be able to perform minor set-ups and tool changes to execute a sequence of operations such as turn, drill, and bore a variety of metal components.
- Ability to operate and set-up all machines with different controls in 2 or more cells
- Follow procedure according to production routers
- Can identify inserts, cutters and general tooling for specific operations
- Interpret technical drawings in accordance with standard shop practices.
- Make offset adjustments and performing minor program edits.
- Responsible for finished parts conformity to print or specification.
- Perform all 5S+ activities and keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience OR completion of a machinist/CNC degree/certification.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beltsville, MD will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
