Product Design Intern

Our interns shape the future of education.

We're a small, nimble team so we can't afford to manufacture "intern-work." Our interns are our colleagues, and their code, designs, and ideas have the power to affect 200 million people around the world. Learn deeply and broadly from an experienced team of world class engineers, designers, product managers, PhDs, and researchers.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Sketch or Photoshop to design clean, innovative interfaces for apps and web
  • Look at metrics to see how your designs are performing, and iterate to improve them
  • Work side by side with talented engineers who would bring your visions to life
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

Requirements:

  • 12 week consecutive availability in summer 2018
  • Graduation plan by 2019 or winter 2018
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Design
  • Relocation to Pittsburgh, PA for the internship

Antonia is a full-stack software engineer who focuses on building out Duolingo's Tinycards product—a customizable flash card app that helps students memorize anything.

Senior Software Engineer

Connor’s official title is Software Engineer—but his role extends beyonds just writing code. He also builds specs, makes design mock-ups, and organizes meetings to talk about the Duolingo product.
