IT Technician

As an IT Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hardware and software components for employees. The successful candidate for this position will report to our Staff Operations Engineer and play an instrumental role in the efficiency of office operations for all functions.


  • Provide computer and mobile device troubleshooting both onsite and remotely
  • Provide AV troubleshooting, maintenance and installation
  • Respond to ticketing requests efficiently and with a high level of customer service
  • Facilitate repairs with the Apple Retail Store
  • Manage all tech purchasing and inventory
  • Manage software license purchasing and distribution
  • Administer common application suites e.g. GSuite, Zoom, Dropbox, etc.
  • Maintain and update laptop configurations via JAMF
  • Image and configure laptop computers
  • Maintain/manage printers
  • Maintain IT storage areas
  • Handle e-waste disposal/donation
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
  • Minimum of a baccalaureate degree
  • Knowledge of Apple products, including both hardware and software, at a moderate to advanced level
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • General proficiency in Bash or Python programming
  • Flexibility to work outside of typical business hours, as needed
  • Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or relevant field
  • Certified as an Apple Certified Mac Technician
