Dun & Bradstreet's Marketing Department is divided into five distinct areas of practice. While independent by design, each practice operates with others as needed to achieve their collective goals and objectives: Customer Solutions; Marketing Global Communications; Digital Operations & Demand Creation; Customer Analytics & Insight; Content Marketing.

The Marketing Manager role is responsible for leading the development and creation of integrated direct marketing campaign strategies that support partner marketing, acquisition, and customer marketing. The Marketing Manager role will directly interface with functional leadership to define and implement strategies that will be applied to B2B marketing activities. Strong collaboration with Sales leadership will be required to understand opportunities and leverage internal and external resources to drive lead generation. The Marketing Manager will develop strategic plans and manage and execute marketing, promotion, and data management initiatives through the direct oversight of offline marketing channels including direct mail, email, and non-traditional media to drive profitable lead generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Manage end-to-end operational elements of campaign execution

§ Develop channel marketing plans leveraging business intelligence and prospect and customer segmentation strategies to drive relevant messaging and product targeting

§ Manage the timely development and deployment of creative assets to support email, direct mail, print, landing pages, and sales collateral, working with internal creative services team and outside agencies

§ Solve problems both strategically and creatively coupled with a passion and a willingness to be hands-on to ensure goals are being hit

§ Drive ROI performance via offline and online channel optimization

§ Measure performance and identify levers for improvement - design and analyze relevant reports, design A/B testing, and evaluate performance across various marketing channels to identify opportunities to optimize ROI

§ Execute projects within required timelines and budget

§ Act as main point person for managing campaign budget, invoicing, and accruals

§ Champion the sales team though enthusiastic collaboration and support

REQUIREMENTS:

§ BA/BS required. MBA in Marketing/Finance or analytical field desirable. Agency experience a plus

§ Minimum of 4 years of experience in direct marketing campaign management with demonstrated success in managing successful, high-performing marketing programs for B2B and B2C brands

§ Previous experience with database segmentation strategy development

§ Direct experience developing advertising/promotional and direct marketing programs and materials

§ Direct experience managing and designing integrated campaign strategies

§ Knowledge of best practices for direct mail and email creative, database segmentation, and testing methodologies

§ Competent in direct marketing best practices including contact strategies, designing A/B testing, email delivery and deliverability issues, customer segmentation, and analytics/performance management

§ Strong Project management, communication, organizational, and analytical skills

§ Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

§ In-depth understanding of database marketing and ability to use data to build marketing plans

§ Experience in leading the development, testing, and implementation of automated and event-triggered email programs
