1. Assist the Privacy Team in planning, designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and ensuring adherence to a comprehensive global privacy program focusing on Greater China. This includes the Peoples Republic of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan (and periodically, if necessary, any of D&B's Asian partner markets) where privacy or compliance support is needed. Responsibilities would include: assisting in implementing and managing privacy and data protection policies and procedures and training and awareness programs; supporting strategic initiatives, assisting with monitoring legal/regulatory developments and supporting our government affairs function as necessary. Responsibilities also include working closely with both our global Third Party Compliance team and the Enterprise Data Governance team, and counseling on compliance with non-privacy related data regulation laws such as Credit Reporting Agency laws, state secret laws, and cybersecurity laws, including the China Cyber Security Law (CSL).

2. Advise on global day-to-day privacy and data protection matters in Greater China including identifying all possible legal issues and counseling clients, with a privacy or compliance lens on the legal aspects of data collection practices and policies; supporting vendor reviews and due diligence; working in collaboration with the Commercial Legal team to support contract negotiations with vendors and customers on privacy-relates issues; providing support with respect to privacy-related marketing and sales issues; conducting Privacy Impact Assessments, supporting IT on data security and local data operations teams on data collection practices.

3. Support Global Compliance and Legal Risk: As a member of the Global Compliance and Legal Risk Group provide support for privacy or compliance-related programs and initiatives including: anti-corruption, export controls, fraud and anti-money laundering; compliance investigations; record management; and preparation and presentation of training programs.

4. Support Greater China Commercial team: Provide general legal advice and support to the sales/business team, including contracts negotiation and drafting, preparation/improvement of standard contract forms, enhancement of contract processes; Work with other internal constituents (i.e. Product, Marketing, Finance, D&O etc.) to support business initiatives/projects that affect contract management and compliance.
