Training Specialist

About this Opportunity

The Training Specialist is responsible for managing the Training Program for the organization, Client Services & Business Operations (CS&BO). The individual will work with senior management and internal departments to identify the biggest gaps or opportunities across the employee lifecycle, teams and/or locations. They will partner with SMEs to develop, maintain and deliver training content. They will work with enterprise wide HR and Learning teams and individuals within the organization to test pilot programs and roll out initiatives. They will maintain the inventory of training content and manage a centralized repository of materials. They will develop curriculums and certifications with teams and identify opportunities to collaborate and share knowledge across the organization. They will produce reporting on the training program roll out, engagement and skills growth. They will develop opportunities for individuals to apply their acquired knowledge. Lastly, they will drive a quarterly meeting with senior management to review and update on progress, gather priorities and then adjust the roadmap accordingly.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of all teams across the organization and the products and services offered to clients
  • Develop a network and stakeholder map across the organization, HR and Learning teams
  • Capture the training priorities of the senior management team and develop a plan for this
  • Liaise with Team Managers and Team Leads to fully understand training needs for each function
  • Create and update training materials, including training scripts, tip sheets, and FAQs on new and existing platforms and products
  • Conduct a gap analysis of training content and skills, developing a plan to fill the gap with new content and material
  • Manage a central repository of training material
  • Create and maintain curriculums for each functional role and level, and certifications of products and processes
  • Support onboarding activities of new employees
  • Assign training content and sessions to selected individuals or teams as required
  • Plan, schedule and execute via WebEx or Classroom training sessions following agreed training schedule
  • Administer refresher training on process changes, new markets or product changes
  • Develop opportunities for individuals to apply their acquired knowledge
  • Develop and maintain a program of Credits, Rewards & Recognition
  • Produce reporting on the training program roll out, engagement and skills growth
  • Run quarterly meetings with senior management to review and update on progress, revise priorities and adjust the training roadmap accordingly
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
    Sound Like You?
    • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    Additional Qualifications
    • Knowledge of DTCC products/services is preferable
    • Can work an EMEA shift
