Senior Oracle Cloud Administrator

Role Description

The Sr. Oracle Cloud Administrator will support the Finance organization in the system administration of Oracle Cloud and its peripheral tools. This position will report in the Business Technology team who would work closely with cross-functional teams such as but not limited to Accounting, Tax, FP&A and IT.  
  • Responsible for provisioning, configuration, operation and maintenance of Oracle Cloud
  • Review BRDs and prepare technical design documentation (TDD) for software enhancement requests 
  • Build or configure software functionality related to TDD
  • Ensure system configuration adheres to leading best practices, business operations requirements and organizational values
  • Performs routine maintenance and daily systems support
  • Responsible for user management
  • Perform ongoing system performance tuning
  • Maintain network and system security protocols
  • Promotes internal control when performing system maintenance and configuration
  • Be a puzzle-solver in identifying, diagnosing and resolving system bugs and troubleshooting problems reported by end users
  • Reviews, performs and oversees software upgrade releases
  • Evaluate and modify system performance, and make recommendations for future upgrades
  • Work on system enhancement request in sprint cycles
  • Provide end-user training
  • Create and maintain system administration reports for troubleshooting and exception handling
  • Managing service requests and escalation
Job Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of Oracle system administration experience in an enterprise environment required
  • Extensive ERP system administration experience supporting various Finance operations and functions (i.e. AP, GL, Fixed Assets, AR, FP&A, Procurement)
  • Oracle database, data mining, data modeling and SQL experience preferred
  • Javascript and Oracle application developer framework experience
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving and system troubleshooting
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to details
  • Detailed knowledge on system and data security
  • System and solutions architecture experience preferred
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle using agile and/or waterfall methodology
  • Software industry experience preferred
  • Excellent documentation, presentation and communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Finance or Related Field
