Product Public Relations Manager

Role Description: 

We’re looking for a product and technology communications pro who is a natural storyteller. This individual will be tasked with designing and executing programs that drive awareness for the company’s business and enterprise solutions and partnerships. Additionally, this individual will play a critical role in working with the partnerships team to translate the benefits of partner integrations into tangible takeaways for our customers and their users. This position will work closely with the partnerships team, analyst relations, product marketing, product management and corporate marketing teams to craft compelling stories about Dropbox and execute on strategies that will bring these stories to life.


  • Build and execute communications strategies, partnership news and product launches for Dropbox
  • Execute creative communication campaigns that will increase awareness of and regard for Dropbox Pro, Business and Dropbox Enterprise products
  • Drive thought leadership campaigns on security, collaboration, and other key issues
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine Dropbox product/technology messaging and identify key audiences, metrics, and stories that effectivelyland 
  • Partner with product teams to amplify impact of new product features and launches
  • Develop media pitches, generate media coverage and cultivate Dropbox relationships with media outlets
  • Partner with external agency to drive results


  • 5–7 years of communications/PR experience, ideally in both agency and in-house tech company settings
  • Established relationships with industry media contacts and demonstrated success with media relations
  • Experience with partnership communications a plus
  • Experience with and passion for growing and promoting tech brands with a deep understanding of the tech industry landscape
  • Skilled at prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate strong writing and storytelling skill a must
  • Analytical problem-solver with exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Team player with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, partnership and marketing teams.  Also has a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, flexibility and sense of humor
