Product Manager - Paper Mobile

Role Description

Dropbox Paper is a new Dropbox product that simplifies the way teams create, give feedback, and organize ideas. It's an innovative, real-time editor; rich feedback featuresand collaborative organizationhas made it an essential productivity tool for a growing number of teams.

In this role, you will be building delightful user experiences for very challenging and highly impactful user problems across both our Paper's iOS and Android mobile apps. Since the apps launched last August, users have grown to, not just use the apps as a companion to the web, but as a first class app to use Paper. Help us transform how people work by making content creation and feedback as easy and seamless as possible! This is an extremely strategic cross-team role with the ability to impact how millions of Dropbox users discover and use Paper! In the short term, you will work on making these apps richer, more performant and easy to use! In the long term, you will develop the strategy for new mobile-first experiences for Paper. In addition, you will drive partnerships both within and outside Dropbox to grow Paper into new surfaces and new devices, creating "better together" experiences for our mobile users.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with design and engineering teams to deliver delightful, highly performant and reliable mobile-first customer experiences on the Paper mobile apps
  • Work closely with product marketing, customer success, and users to deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans, and detailed specifications
  • Work across the company to develop strategy and deliver key, integrated experiences with other parts of Dropbox (e.g. Dropbox mobile app)
  • Develop strategic partnerships outside Dropbox to drive adoption of Paper on new mobile devices

Requirements
  • BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering or similar or experience as a Software Engineer, Designer or startup Founder
  • 4+ years or more experience as a Product Manager, or similar role
  • Metrics driven approach to product development and growth
  • Strong product intuition and deep understanding of and empathy for users
  • Demonstrated ability to work with engineering and design to create delightful products
  • A passion for productivity tools and helping teams work better together
  • Prior experience building mobile user experiences is a huge plus
