Oracle Reporting & BI Developer

Role Description

The Oracle Reporting and BI Developer will support the Finance organization in the development and maintenance of reporting solutions in Oracle Cloud.  This position will report in the Business Technology team who would work closely with cross-functional teams such as but not limited to Accounting, Tax, FP&A, IT, Sales & Marketing.  The Reporting Analyst will be responsible in developing a reliable and comprehensive Financial and Management reporting.
 
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 3 years hands-on experience developing reports in Oracle on-premise, Oracle Cloud, Hyperion or similar business intelligence reporting tool 
  • Data modeling and SQL Server experience required
  • Working knowledge of Essbase applications and multi-dimensional databases
  • Experience with Essbase Studio or Essbase Integration Services a plus
  • Experience using Oracle Cloud Transactional OBI and Reporting Studio preferred
  • General functional knowledge of different financial processes (i.e. R2R, O2C, P2P, etc.)
  • Experience using web and reporting services
  • Familiarity with Cloud, SaaS and integration tools preferred
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, organization and communications skills
  • Ability to interact with different levels of management
Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops and maintain reporting products within Oracle Cloud
  • Validates source data against output to optimize report design
  • Translate end user requirements into reporting design specifications
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation
  • Design, build and maintain dashboard and report prototypes
  • Act as the primary technical resource for end users and cross-functional team members to assist in their reporting needs
  • Troubleshoot report questions and issues in Oracle Cloud and its periphery tools
  • Advocates efficient data reporting methodologies using leading best practices
  • Provide end-user training on applications and reporting tools
