There are six critical areas to find impact within our growing business units. Business Strategy and Operations(BSO), Business Development, Growth and Monetization, Product Marketing, Revenue Strategy, and Information Technology. You will drive business initiatives across the company improving our products' potential, in order to delight our users and help Dropbox grow.
BusinessStrategy&Operations(BSO)-The BSO team partners with Dropbox leadership to continually evolve the company's strategic agenda, address critical business challenges, and improve operational rigor within the company. Our team works closely with senior executives in a variety of functions-such as product, growth, sales, marketing, business development, and finance-to set our strategy and drive key business initiatives through a number of high-visibility projects.Our team is tight-knit, and you'll have the opportunity to engage with peers/mentors from premier professional services firms and MBA programs. Prior full-time work experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity/venture capital, or strategy/business operations for a technology company is a plus.
Business Development-The Business Development team builds and leads a global partner ecosystem that include partnerships across the spectrum of 300k+ developers to large technology companies such as Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, HP and Apple. We partner closely with Dropbox leaders across functions-such as product, engineering, sales, marketing, legal and finance-to drive growth of individual and business users for both Dropbox and our partners.You have experience in consulting, private equity/venture capital, operations or Chief of Staff experience.
Growth Management-Our Growth & Monetization team drives business growth through rapid experimentation and data insights. We're responsible for understanding the end-to-end customer funnel to optimize monetization opportunities and help users realize the full potential of our products. We work closely with many teams, including Product, Engineering, Analytics and Sales. In this role we are specifically passionate about retaining existing users by demonstrating marketing and growth tactics to improve renewal and engagement metrics.Your background is in project management while demonstrating strong analytical abilities and experience with A/B testing.
Product Marketing-The Marketing team sets product positioning and strategy, leads product launches, and gathers customer insights. We partner with teams including Product, Sales, and Engineering. You will focus on driving the messaging, content, and go-to-market strategy to reach prospective customers and influence their decision to try or buy Dropbox.You have prior full-time or MBA internship experience in a marketing role, or a function that directly works with marketing teams within the technology industry(such as sales, PR, or partnerships)
Revenue Strategy-Our Revenue Strategy team focuses on growing and running Dropbox's direct sales teams. We work directly with Dropbox's senior sales leaders to create strategies to ignite new growth, and execute with the help of our cross-functional partners. You will identify and build new growth strategies, dive deep into our data to identify trends, and build tools to make that data visible to all. You'll play a leading role in building/refining the operations of our sales teams that enable the business to scale.We are builders. If you like to get into the details-to come up with a strategy and then execute on it-Revenue Strategy could be a good fit for you. Experience functioning in highly ambiguous environments, project management, and a high attention to detail is strongly encouraged.
Information Technology-The Information Technology and Services team builds scalable technology solutions that have broad impact for our growing teams globally. As a Business Analyst on the Business Intelligence and Data team you will partner with key partners and establish standard methodologies and guidelines for creation, storage and publishing of data. By ensuring the health of our data, insights and metrics you will help design and implement purposeful architectures and roadmaps.We value past experience in business intelligence, data integrations, data management and governance within SaaS and other cloud technologies. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Currently enrolled as a second year student pursuing a Master's in Business Administration with a graduation date of Spring 2018.
