Global Payments & Optimization Manager


  • Lead business development, business negotiation and relationship management with payment processing & technology service providers
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to help identify and prioritize upcoming platform needs, select vendors, and launch new payment options; in addition to Treasury, Tax, Legal and Trust/Compliance
  • Define, track, analyze, influence, communicate and be responsible for key payments metrics, e.g., payments success and subscription auto-renewal rate, cost of payment processing
  • Prioritize and build business case for expansion of payments capabilities
Job requirements:

  • Strong quantitative abilities and intuition, exceptional business analytical skills
  • Excellent project management ability, capable of leading multiple time-sensitive cross-functional projects
  • Able to work with internal stakeholders to get to consensus on important issues
  • Experience working and negotiating with external business partners and vendors
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
  • Detailed understanding of the global payments ecosystem, particularly card payments
  • 7+ years experience managing a regional or global payments portfolio at a large scale, including North America and Europe
  • 3+ years experience optimizing the performance of card payments, with a track record of improving metrics through experimentation and managing quantitative analysts
  • Experience with payments in subscription and/or B2B business models strongly preferred
  • BA/BS degree or higher required, preferably in business, economics or finance
