Compensation Lead

Role Description:
As a Compensation Lead, you will work on large-scale compensation delivery initiatives (merit planning, benchmarking, equity planning, etc.) to support Dropbox's growing employee population. You will be analyzing data, building models, and communicating recommendations to business leaders. You will work with an assigned business function as a compensation partner to help make compensation recommendations for a specific employee group. You must have the ability to balance multiple priorities. Solid communication skills are essential and those skill need to be tailored to cross-functional audiences at every level. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manipulate and analyze large data sets to distill insights from the numbers and convey findings to a senior audience
  • Participate in salary surveys, conducting external market pricing and preparing pricing analyses and reports
  • Assist with annual compensation processes, including base salary merit increases and equity grants
  • Collaborate directly with subject matter experts across Finance, HR, Sales Operations and Sales Leadership to ensure sales incentive designs are operating effectively against benchmark metrics
  • Assist recruiters with offer packages by applying Dropbox compensation policies in fair and equitable ways
  • Work on core compensation projects and improve internal processes to scale looking (e.g. compensation policies, new hires/transfers compensation, spot bonus programs, market benchmarking)
  • Ensure appropriate level of compensation governance across supported teams
 
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in quantitative-focused major 
  • 5-8 years of experience in-house or consulting compensation, preferably for the technology industry
  • Outstanding excel skills (interview process will include an excel test)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a client-facing role
