Channel Operations Program Manager

Channel Operations is a newly formed function in Dropbox’s Revenue Excellence and Operations organization and is a global team that ensures that the evolving Channel Sales business runs smoothly. Experts in leading Business Operations, team members are analytical and strategic and develop Global Channel initiatives, provide service readiness through order processing & drive channel enablement and strategy execution.

Role Description

We are looking for a Program Manager capable of setting up and managing a Management Office (PMO) from grounds up. The role is highly visible across multiple organizations and will be responsible for managing channel priorities, scoping projects, establishing processes and change management related activities. 
 
As a Channel Operations Program Manager you will be collaborating with key people from various groups within the company including Sales Leadership, Deal Desk, Partner Programs, Finance Operations, product development and sales members of our channel organization.

Responsibilities 

  • Identify and assess ongoing needs of Channel sales organization
  • Help prioritize, and manage a portfolio of Channel projects across tool development (Salesforce & roduct Development) & internal process enhancements
  • Define & document Business Cases, maintain a Project Plan, status report and help execute Channel Sales roadmap (internally and externally-facing programs, products, and tools) to ensure alignment with highest business priorities
  • Project manage business critical initiatives
  • Develop program related communications and assist with change management activities
  • Recommend, drive, and implement process improvements that support scalability and partner growth
  • Represent Channel Operations to support sprint releases and assist in business testing with out IT teams

Requirements

  • 6 - 8+ years work experience
  • Experience in developing and/or executing strategic sales programs
  • Strong aptitude with sales methodologies, processes & project management
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to work at all levels of the organization
  • Prior experience in Agile/sprint development workflows preferred
  • Creative interest in explaining & visualizing project success metrics to stakeholders
  • Intellectual curiosity, ability to roll sleeves up and get work done
