Americas Regional Office Lead

Role Description

As the Americas Regional Office Lead at Dropbox, you will be responsible for ensuring your Dropbox office's feel like home. You'll work with internal and external partners to ensure that Dropboxers have an innovative and stylish environment, comfortable and safe operational buildings, word-class events, and everything else necessary to make an office productive and part of a global team. You will have the opportunity to help support a collaborative environment where Dropboxers will be excited to come to work every single day. This role not only collaborates with Dropboxers but also on-boards and establishes relationships with outside contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Head of Real Estate and Workplace Services to develop and implement creative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs while growing overall productivity
  • Lead all day-to-day building and office operations for our US locations including, but not limited to, front desk reception, janitorial services internal/external vendor partners, and company event support
  • Run monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Lead remote office locations and on-site office staff
  • Budgets and forecasts for multiple sites
  • Partner with Catering, Corporate Engineering and Sales (EBC) to ensure event spaces are fitted out, allocated appropriately, and operationally efficient
  • Lead, manage, cultivate, and develop a team of facility professionals and oversee numerous contracted service providers
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to ensure the office properly reflects Dropbox culture & values
  • Manage relationships for O&M vendors including the establishment of POs, the execution of work in line with negotiated contracts, and the identification of cost effective approaches to work
  • Collaborate on lease administration as needed
  • Collaborate on building space allocation and layout
  • Reconfigures and moves as needed
  • Serve as a back up to site Facility Manager as required

  • You have 10+ years experience in a facilities or office manager role at a fast-growing organization
  • You've got a deep understanding of how office environments impact corporate culture, productivity and retention
  • You're able to work remotely and manage people in remote locations, often times multitasking several projects at once
  • You have a consistent track record of completing projects and deliverables on time and in budget
  • You've developed over the top communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range or personalities
  • You have familiarity with move management and space planning tools
  • You're a natural problem solver with the next innovative idea
  • You're able to travel within your region as needed
  • A real passion for Dropbox products
