Responsibilities

A typical day as a Part Time Customer Service Advocate

Expect to walk into a fun environment. As a Customer Service Advocate for DriveTime you will be exposed to all aspects of the dealership. You will work closely with your team and with customers. As a Customer Service Advocate, you are part of the sales, inventory and operations of the business.  This is the perfect opportunity to work within a fast paced environment where you will play a key role within your team.

 As a Customer Service Advocate some of your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Welcomes customers by providing them concierge level assistance.
  • Directs customers by escorting them to management team. 
  • Advises customers by providing information on products.
  • Processes down payments, titles and documents.
  • Maintains clientele informed by keeping them up to date during their sales process.
  • Be flexible enough to organize and adapt daily work to changing situations and demands.
  • Professional phone skills
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Money: Great pay – $12/hour

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of general office experience including cashiering.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), math, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel.
  • Professional phone skill sets to include internal and external customers.
  • Must be polite, professional, energetic and presentable, with strong communication, organization and customer service skills
  • Face-to-face sales/customer service related experience in industries like retail and hospitality is preferred
  • Be flexible enough to organize and adapt daily work to changing situations and demands.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug test and a background check

 

Physical Demands

The Physical demands described within are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • This job position is designated as a safety sensitive position.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.

  • Must be able to carry and transport up to 25 pounds up to 60 feet.

  • Requires standing for extended period of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling.

  • Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.

  • Requires sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to type for extended periods of time.

  • Requires being able to hear and speak with others in-person or on the phone.

  • Must adhere to regular and predictable attendance.
