Junior Full Stack Developer

We are currently looking for a self-driven, Junior-level full stack application developer with C# and GIS experience. The candidate needs to work well in a team and have strong design and implementation skills. He or she will be responsible for analyzing energy related infrastructure and data in a geospatially-enabled environment. The position requires a critical thinking and creativity to solve complex problems on both desktop and web platforms. 


Required Candidate Profile

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Competitive Candidate Profile
  • Proficient in C# and experience in GIS is a must
  • Engineering background is key
  • Demonstration of success in challenging environments
  • Willingness to explore new solutions in R&D Desire to work with multidisciplinary teams including Economists and Market Analysts
  • Familiarity with the .NET framework (Linq, Entity Framework, ADO.net)
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Familiarity with web APIs
  • Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Knowledge of concurrency patterns in C#
  • Comfortable with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Comfortable with large datasets
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes 
  • Familiarity with Windows Presentation Framework
  • Scripting languages (Python, Perl, R)
  • Tibco spotfire is a plus
