Marketing Manager, Partnerships
The Marketing Manager - Content, Data & Technology Partnerships will support the growth and awareness of commercial partnerships that support brands within the Dow Jones Professional Information Business. The role will spearhead marketing and promotions of these partnerships across both partner audiences and Dow Jones sales teams.
Responsibilities & Activities:
The Marketing Manager, Partnerships will play a collaborative role across the marketing department and our PIB Content, Data & Technology Partnerships team. You will be focused on providing marketing support to drive revenue growth and awareness of our Partners within the Professional Information Business (B2B) unit of Dow Jones.
In this newly created role, you will be required to work across a variety of brands (eg Dow Jones DNA, Factiva, Dow Jones Newswires) that provide enterprise solutions across a broad set of audiences. Working in close collaboration and alignment with brand marketing leaders and the GM of Partnerships, you will develop, plan and execute marketing activities targeted to our partnership audiences. These activities include, but are not limited to; event marketing, sales enablement to support field marketing, partner based marketing and demand generation, digital marketing, content development, customizing sales materials, event sponsorship, creating an onboarding experience for partners, developing our partner resource center, newsletters, and play a supporting role to the development, execution and marketing of loyalty programs including our partner benefits program.
At Dow Jones, our Content, Data and Technology Partners and these commercial relationships are many and varied. Your complete understanding of the revenue and strategic importance of each partner will contribute to success in the role.
Your flexibility will lend itself to working on projects and activities end-to-end, from ideation and planning through to development and execution, whilst working in alignment with marketing counterparts, partnership/business development managers and sales. A proven creative, organized, collaborative approach to work will set you apart from your peers.
- Degree qualified (Bachelors') in a relevant field: Business, Marketing, Communications
- 6-8 years of relevant experience; B2B marketing experience essential
- Proven experience developing and executing annual marketing plans to drive growth and success of commercial partnerships
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent collaborator, innovator and team player
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
