Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and innovative General Manager to help lead the expansion of one of the leading financial titles in the world. The right candidate has a background in managing and developing subscription and advertising-supported media businesses. He or she must have a strong understanding of finance and investing, a passion for journalism and media, and an appetite for leading change.

The GM will be part of a core team of senior executives leading Dow Jones Media Group, a portfolio of digital startups and established media brands such as Barron's and MarketWatch.

Responsibilities include:

  • P&L ownership
  • Driving digital and other subscriptions
  • Digital product development
  • Developing conference and events business
  • Developing new franchises
  • Developing video business
  • Cost management
  • Managing product, audience team
  • Working closely with senior editors and top executives

Skills include:
  • Digital and other product creation
  • Subscription acquisition
  • Digital advertising
  • Sr. management experience
  • Financial and business media work experience
