Job Description:

The Wall Street Journal's CMO Today is seeking an editor. The person will be responsible for overseeing daily and enterprise stories about issues facing chief marketing officers, in addition to publication of a highly popular newsletter. The ideal candidate should have experience covering and/or editing stories related to the marketing and advertising industry and willing to get in the weeds on matters related to branding, digital ad sales and agencies. The CMO editor should have experience managing a team of reporters and the ability to collaborate across departments on a routine basis. The writing needs to be sophisticated enough to appeal to CMOs, yet clear enough to be understood by intelligent readers with a casual interest marketing. This position is based in New York.
