Bus Tech Consultant, Senior

Job Description:

Dow Jones is seeking a qualified senior analyst to join its CyberSecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team to perform internal audits ofSOXand other various IT control assessments.

The GRC team examines and assesses information technology and business controls and processes as it relates toSOXcompliance, in support of Dow Jones, News Corporation’s management, Board of Directors and Audit Committee.

The Senior Analyst’s responsibilities will include providing assessments to determine:

  • The adequacy, appropriateness and effectiveness of internal controls,
  • The extent of compliance with Company policies and procedures,
  • The accuracy and security of data and information,
  • The accountability for the Company’s assets to safeguard against loss,
  • The economy and efficiency with which resources are employed, and
  • The level of compliance by business partners with contractual arrangements.

Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to understand complex business processes and information technology controls, and have a history of identifying and quantifying risks. They will also need to be a team player with strong analytical and organizational skills, demonstrate the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment, as well as having the confidence to interact with executives at all levels and external audit organizations. Experience with IT auditing andSOXpreferred. An ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management is essential. Candidate should have at least 5 to 6 years relevant experience.
