Account Services Representative


  • Under general supervision, proactively initiates new accounts via telephone and email.
  • Assists prospects and customers with inquiries concerning Dow Jones Reprints and Licensing products and services.
  • Qualifies and recommends solutions to prospective consumer and corporate customers.
  • Establishes account profiles and performs account maintenance and updates to customer information, assists with promotional efforts and responds to requests for general product information, pricing, account cancellation and other account-related issues both verbally and in writing.
  • Performs clerical work as required using order entry systems, personal computer and standard office application software.
  • Assists with reprint production and fulfillment as needed.


  • 2-4+ years sales experience.
  • Experience selling into the corporate environment, preferred but not required.
  • College degree (or equivalent).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proven presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, enabling strong account management and prompt customer follow-up.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint needed.
  • Cold calling is a must.
  • Experience working with a CRM tool.
  • Able to identify sales prospects.
  • Knowledge of financial industry a plus.
