ACCOUNT MANAGER (based in MUMBAI)
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director in India, this role, based in Mumbai, provides the opportunity to develop a professional sales career at the corporate level.
What are the key Responsibilities/Accountabilities?
You will be responsible for servicing and managing a defined set of customers focused on Financial or Corporate B2B markets. Using your proven sales and account management skills, the key focus of this role is to promote usage, to grow and retain existing customers and drive new business revenue. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities and managing the sales process from start to finish. You will have the ability to sell the full suite of Dow Jones core enterprise solutions such as Dow Jones Newswires or Factiva.com.
What do we need from you?
Ideally, you will possess a degree level qualification and at least 3 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in complex solution sales environment, be self-motivated with a passion for winning. A broad understanding of the financial or corporate and online business information markets with experience selling into those markets is preferred. Also, an understanding of the internet and intranet capabilities and working knowledge of the India B2B competition is desirable. Above all, we are looking for a strong team player with proven sales record, influencing skills, initiative, and a keen interest in business.
