The consumer growth marketing team is focused on building and nurturing our consumer base by building a relationship with our consumer and providing them with an engaging and relevant cross-channel experience. About the Role
We're looking for a talented and driven performance marketer with strong knowledge of offline media channels to join our Consumer Growth Marketing team. This role will offer you the opportunity to have an immediate impact by managing the deployment of mass awareness and reach channels. You'll be at the forefront of leading recommendations, solving complex problems, and making strategic recommendations to drive the business forward. In this role you will get the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other DoorDash teams (including the brand, partnerships, sales, strategy & operations, finance and analytics) and as well as manage our agency media relationships to test and implement new campaigns. This role is hybrid, and can be based out of our offices in Sydney, NSW or Melbourne, VIC.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
- Manage multi-million dollar monthly offline budgets across offline marketing channels, including Traditional (Linear TV, Out of Home, Radio), Streaming (CTV/Streaming Video, Streaming Audio), and Print (Direct Mail, Flyers, Inserts)
- Work closely with agencies to optimize media buying in an effort to hit aggressive growth targets in a cost-effective manner, including recommending and testing new channels to identify incremental audiences and inventory for accelerating growth
- Lead iterative improvement of offline planning processes to enable hitting business goal through stewardship of the measurement roadmap to optimize A/B creative test, launch brand campaigns with local brand team, optimize marketing media mix with Analytics and use SQL and other dashboard tools to present new recommendations & findings
- Execute our print channel end-to-end, inclusive of brief development, promo sizing, A/B creative testing, and testing of new vendor or placement opportunities across formats
- Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, with the speed and ownership to adjust tactics and strategies quickly based on learnings and opportunities
- Direct and manage agencies to achieve goals and ROI targets and build the relationship to be set up for executional excellence, with day-to-day project management of initiatives
- Maintain and monitor key metrics across channels including budget pacing, CPA, CVR, CAC, new customer acquisition and volume goals
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across broader marketing, including but not limited to brand, partnerships, analytics and sales to uncover & present new opportunities for alignment

You're a results-oriented marketer with demonstrated experience managing large budgets across acquisition channels. You are highly analytical and count A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing campaign performance among your core competencies. You are creative and collaborative and work well with teams to tackle challenging problems. Most importantly, you are eager to roll up your sleeves to find opportunities and efficiencies in a fast-moving company at the forefront of on-demand food ordering. Also, you probably love food!
- You have experience with offline media and upper-funnel/mass awareness marketing channels
- You have a Bachelor's degree and 6-8 years of related digital performance marketing
- You have direct, hands-on experience managing media buying, optimization across Linear TV, CTV/Streaming Video, Out of Home, Radio, Streaming Audio, Flyers, Inserts and strategic planning either at an agency or in-house
- You have deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CVR, and LTV.
- You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, as well as a strong grasp of A/B testing, and metrics driven performance marketing.
- You have an outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
- You have attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
- You have strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills; must be very comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make decisions
- You have a bias to action to achieve success in a fast moving environment
- You have agency experience and past experience managing clients directly (preferred)
- You have experience working on multi-sided marketplace businesses (preferred)
- You have knowledge of SQL, Python or other data processing scripts (preferred)
