About the Role
To further this mission, we're looking for a customer-obsessed, hands-on, Brand Manager based in Sydney or Melbourne. In this critical Brand Marketing role, you will help us solve complex and exciting consumer challenges by leveraging your experience in delving into data and insights to then execute Australian brand campaign strategies and programs to drive consumer growth, loyalty and increase brand health metrics. You will work cross-functionally as a partner to Growth Marketing, Retention, Mx Partnerships, Sales, and our agency partners to roll out these programs and drive ongoing growth and engagement within our primary target audiences, use cases and occasions. This role demands a mastery of marketplace knowledge to unlock customers with the goal of creating engaging and hard-working brand experiences. Effortless cross-functional collaboration is a must - as this role will touch every part of the business.

You're Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will ....
- Create clear and actionable data-driven marketing and brand-led strategies that drive brand affinity and volume in new and existing markets
- Develop initiatives that bring cultural relevance to our platform amongst targeted audiences, tapping into our newly-introduced brand strategy and bringing it to life in the Australia
- Dive deeply into audience segmentation, unleashing unique campaigns based on distinct audience need states (eg. young families, sports fans)
- Win support for your campaign ideas from all relevant partners, including DoorDash executives and external agency partners
- Manage relationships and lead tight collaboration with AUNZ marketing channel owners including Performance, Retention, Partnerships, and PR
- Assess marketing opportunities to identify potential campaigns and partnerships through collaboration with the Audience Insights team, data analysis and other sources of information available within DoorDash; commissioning external data when needed
- Thrive in driving significant project momentum through strategic vision and tight timelines to ensure all stakeholders move forward to a successful end result
We're Excited About You Because ...
- You have a degree in marketing, advertising or similar
- 7+ years Brand Marketing experience with budget accountability, ideally within a major household or a global brand launched in Australia
- Track record of breakthrough newsworthy campaigns, with disruptive creativity and innovative thinking
- Strategic and business-minded - you find trends in the data and look for the "so what"
- Deep experience in developing and implementing strategic brand direction, leveraging your engagement with cultural and consumer insights into your recommendations
- Fluency across the marketing mix - both in brand-building and direct response, with the ability to engage your cross functional partners early in all brand initiatives
- Organised, dependable, self-motivated with a keen ability to mobilise teams around a shared outcome
- Creative and collaborative - you love working with a team and solving challenging problems with a keen eye on creative strategy
- Deep experience in creative production across all channels; with an ability to get to a strong, cost effective creative product in close partnership with your creative partners
- Effective written and verbal communication skills essential
