We're looking for a Growth Design Lead to help build and champion a new growth function within Superette, the Creative Studio at DoorDash. Leading a dedicated team of two designers, you'll oversee the development of world-class design that drives conversion for the business across various channels and elevates our established Design Language System. You'll report into the Design Director of the Superette team within our Marketing organization.

- Oversee a diverse team of designers and actively contribute to creating marketing initiatives targeting small and medium-sized businesses.
- Work closely with strategic program managers, marketing experts, and copywriters to comprehend creative requirements and produce marketing materials aimed at driving advertiser engagement and revenue growth.
- Utilize campaign data to continuously enhance marketing assets, boosting engagement and conversion rates with quick turnaround times.
- Elevate the creative direction and vision ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Participate in identifying business needs and assist in onboarding and training new team members.
- Stay informed about industry trends to advance design strategies for performance marketing and sales enablement materials.
We're excited about you because...
- 8+ years of design experience with a focus on growth or performance marketing
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary design team.
- Hands-on experience in creating impactful marketing content across various formats such as web, emails, advertisements, presentations, and one-pagers, with a focus on achieving business outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices for performance marketing and sales enablement content.
- Ability to clearly explain strategic design decisions.
- Proven capability to translate complex business concepts into easily understandable creative materials.
- Ability to consistently improve design quality while considering business objectives.
- Self-motivated with excellent collaboration skills, capable of managing multiple tasks. Comfortable with changing priorities and thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Experience working in a data-driven setting.
- Familiarity with the media or digital advertising industry is a plus.
- Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Figma.

Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
