For this position, we're welcoming a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to work on a new global, high-visibility program in the Office of the CTO, delivering reliable, scalable and secure web-services using AWS and other cloud infrastructure . The working environment is flexible, and though the role is full time, we would also consider part time applicants.
This is a senior technical contributor role where knowledge of web-services, infrastructure, tooling, continuous integration & deployment, security, architecture, and web protocols is valued. You'll be working in an agile environment, following strong software design and process principles. Your role will be to help us deliver new cutting-edge technologies to the cloud, collaborating with full-stack engineers while continually growing your skills. We are looking for someone who can work well in a startup within an organization and can bring flexibility, speed, and quality to our team.
If you are an adept at automation, deploying and supporting web services and other cloud infrastructure, this is the perfect opportunity for you to help this exciting new field for Dolby be successful.
Key requirements & attributes for successful applicants include:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable field.
- Demonstrated experience in DevOps role working on commercial, scalable & secure medium+ size cloud-deployed web services.
- Professional experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Professional experience with Python 3
- Professional experience writing & maintaining Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation).
- Being an AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer is desirable.
- Ability to write clear & concise documentation for development, QA & support teams.
- Ability to understand and contribute to full-stack product needs and requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
