Dolby Cinema combines the most powerful image and sound technologies with inspired design to transform the movie-going experience. Dolby Cinema is currently in 75+ partner exhibitor locations around the world with plans to grow to 280+ over the next few years. The Sr. Manager, Dolby Cinema (Moviegoer Experience) will be a critical player on a cross-functional team dedicated to creating differentiated marketing experiences that drive results with partners around the world. This person will own the moviegoer journey from passive consumer to loyal advocate. They will support a multi-year outlook and strategy to develop differentiated experiences across all regions and channels and drive our mobile marketing efforts. The best candidate will be entrepreneurial, creative, energetic, mature, and fun to work with. You must have a love for Dolby and movies, a can-do attitude, and a pulse on technical media applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the Dolby Cinema moviegoer experience from pre-sales to ticketing, special screenings, mobile activations, in-theatre, and post movie
  • Deep experience in customer journey mapping work, surfacing key insights from these customer's journey, and then translating those inights into strategic guidance that can be used by design and teams to inform brick and mortar and digital expereince .
  • Create differentiated experiences across all touch-points (direct and via partners / 3rd parties) resulting in loyal advocates for Dolby Cinema.
  • Work closely with Dolby Cinema "core" team (PR, social, digital, content, design, research, brand, events) to create and prioritize marketing program plans and budget.
  • Lead strategic discussions and fresh thinking that differentiates Dolby Cinema online and in person.
  • Leverage primary and secondary research to define target moviegoer profiles / personas.
  • Support ongoing competitive assessments and market trends reports to drive marketing and product strategies.
  • Support periodic data-driven program reviews to report on progress vs. established goals, metrics for marketing and executive leaders.
  • Collect and share research and insights to support upstream product development and product planning process.
  • Review and approve internal and partner-driven Dolby Cinema marketing program activities.
  • Support business development activities as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • 7-10 years in consumer marketing-related role (entertainment / media desired) leading efforts to isolate and deliver differentiated experiences to consumers.
  • Creative thinker with experience leading web, mobile/app and physical experience design.
  • Content marketing (web, editorial, social), consumer insights and data-driven decision maker.
  • Collaborative style with proven examples of building relationship and drive innovation with business partners.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to adjust style to meet needs of a growing marketing organization.
  • Highly organized, precise attention to detail, and strong project management skills.
  • Foundational knowledge of design thinking methodology a plus.
  • Stellar written and oral communication skills.
  • Globally and culturally savvy.
