You will be an advocate for many people and teams. You sit at the intersection of many in-bound threads of work; this gives you a unified view of the "As Is" research landscape, and that allows you to understand what needs to be done, why it's getting or not getting done, what help teams need to break through logjams, and which relationships are required to make it all happen.

  • Partner with Technology/Research teams and product teams to address roadblocks ATG teams encounter in their efforts to conduct research and transfer technology into BG.
  • Partner with BG program management counterparts to understand the gaps in the delivery process and work to eliminate them.
  • Drive the gathering of information, prioritization of the information with the ATG/SVP, and communication in the form of blog site and/or invitation to participate in the events such as mini summits and workshops. Help Influence the pace/rate at which research is addressed by engineering teams
  • Establish and develop and deep understanding of Dolby's services and processes to see where changes can be made, coupled with a strong preference to do the lightest-weight changes possible (even if they add up to something big at the end)
