As Junior Engineer working for Broadcast Professional Products, you will be responsible for providing hardware and software solutions enabling delivery of the latest Dolby technologies via TV or Internet channels. You will get the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the newest audio and video codecs, and you will learn the specifics of real-time media processing. You will be working with the Engineering Team located in Wroclaw and communicating with Business Partners from other Dolby offices. You will participate in the development and maintenance of a software that is used by flagship television networks all around the globe.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop, test and maintain software featuring Dolby's latest technologies
  • Understand and integrate Dolby's components
  • Understand Business Partners requirements and with help of the more Senior Engineers translate them to software requirements
  • Communicate with other team members and contribute to a friendly and efficient work environment

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong C/C++ programming languages skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with Linux OS
  • Basic knowledge of audio and video formats and processing
  • Readiness to learn other technologies: Java, Javascript, HTML, etc.
  • Good English skills, both in speaking and writing
