As a member of the Brand team, the Creative Consumer Copywriter will bring our brand alive in marketing communications for our corporate brand and all of our platform brands. The Creative Consumer Copywriter will collaborate closely with the visual experience team, the digital and social teams, and the integrated and field marketing teams to bring a fresh, creative voice to a variety of consumer projects, including cross platform, digital and physical touch points. The copywriter will first help us craft that voice, translating our brand positioning, brand personality, and product value propositions into a copywriting style that is audience accessible and emotionally engaging across campaigns, events, programs, and more.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable translating strategy into compelling creative for consumers by collaborating with strategists and designers to get the job done.
- Marry a passion for creative copywriting with a zeal for communications that make consumers take action.
- Collaborate with creative partners to create innovative consumer marketing communications that can live across multiple internal and external channels and platforms.
- Help drive the evolution of our consumer copywriting voice and style by leveraging our new brand strategy
- Work with creative strategist and brand director to craft core creative idea, map out consumer touchpoint plan for all brands, identify best consumer communication strategies, and brainstorm ideas for powerful communications
- Write engaging consumer copy, working closely with designers, for multiple channels including advertising, the Web, collateral, point of sale, etc.
- Craft pithy messages such as technology themes, key feature benefits, etc.
- Generate creative naming options for technologies, features, etc.
- Successfully communicate strategic ideas and copywriting rationale, both verbally and visually, to internal stakeholders
- 7+ years of creative copywriting experience
- Exceptional writing talents with stylistic breadth that demonstrates sensitivity to diverse subject matter, audiences and mindsets
- A passion for storytelling and an ability to communicate complex ideas simply, accurately and persuasively
- Experience copywriting for advertising campaigns and other communications, including digital banners and print banners, email, websites, brochures, print ads, outdoor banners, environments, brand guidelines, etc.
- Creative thinking that works across concept, design and writing to drive a compelling communication
- Creative and meticulous, with attention to details
- Self-motivation, excellent communication, an open mind, the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in naming a plus
- Experience writing for consumer electronics and/or technology products or services a plus
