What This Entails: 

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking a craft beer loving Reliability Engineer to join our amazing brewery! In this newly created role, you’ll bring your demonstrated know-how to improve downtime on our brewing and packaging equipment and systems.  This key hire will be a reliability juggernaut bringing with them proven and effective preventive maintenance techniques, measures and remedies to address a variety of complex solutions for a variety of complex challenges. You’ll develop cost-effective equipment/systems-corrective actions and also design/implement new PM procedures tracking our performance as well as addressing redesign of equipment to eliminate repeat failures.  You will perform ongoing a full reliability assessment, evaluating current designs for reliability improvements and testing for efficiency. You’ll be identifying, developing, and implementing modifications to reduce the time required to repair/replace equipment. You’ll also collaborate with our highly skilled Engineering Team on turnover of projects to build reliability programs for new and existing equipment and much more! What You Need to Land This Gig:

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor degree in Engineering along with five to seven years of industrial maintenance experience required. You’ll need to be competent working with a CMM system(s) such as MP2, SAP, Tabware or EAM is/are strongly preferred. You will need to bring your strong aptitude within mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation while having a great understanding of blue prints, CAD drawings, and manuals. You must also have strong technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly, and production equipment.  You must have the full gamut of exceptional communication skills, including written, spoken, inter-personal and rapport-building including presentation skills.  In addition to the sedentary aspects of this role you will also be required to SAFELY navigate all production spaces to include frequent crouching, crawling, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling and frequent lifting to 50 lbs. (occasionally to 80 lbs. assisted) and frequent pulling/pushing to 50 lbs. max.  This is a Monday-Friday gig primarily with flexibility needed as weekend and holiday work could be required to address the high demands of our growing brewery. You should also be a strategic and long-term thinker, who maintains a handle on today while planning and positioning for tomorrow. You must be able to work singularly at times but also collaborate like crazy as we do love to collaborate in our great off-centered environment.
