What This Entails:
Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking a passionate craft beer loving Off-Centered Sales Rep to sell our delicious brands in this newly created role! You’ll be infusing a whole lot of Dogfish love in your designated market while educating consumers on our delicious beers along the way. You’ll be nurturing great relationships with our beloved key accounts and drumming-up new business to reach your projected sales goals while moving our innovative portfolio in your market. You’ll be securing new draft placements, negotiating awesome shelf positions and executing displays as you continue to build the Dogfish brand loyalty and commitment. You’ll be working closely with our distributor partners infusing your in-depth Dogfish knowledge by providing education not only on all the good stuff but performing ride-withs to support the great efforts of our distributor partners. You’ll be hosting weekly events, including beer dinners, festivals and cool promotions throughout your territory. You will be spreading the Dogfish love and inspirational stories too as you continue to educate on our delicious beers to our beloved fans! Your analytical and good decision making will provide valuable insight to what’s happening out on the street. You will be required to travel up to 25-50% of the time within your market using good time management to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. What You Need To Land This Gig:
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Biz or other relevant discipline. You must have a minimum of 2-3 years beverage sales experience. You must be no stranger to working late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as it is necessary to support our sales activities. You must be able to maintain your sobriety and professionalism while working in environments where the taps may be flowing, and a clean driving record is essential. You’ll need to build strong working relationships with your RM and DM as they’ll be your leaders in the market for advice and guidance. You must enjoy working independently, have an awesome personality and enjoy competitive selling as we’re seeking a real go-getter here!
