What This Entails:

 

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is seeking Division Sales Manager to provide multi-region leadership and oversight to our leaders in the field. In this role, you’ll work closely with our distributor network and customers while managing our talented regional managers!  You’ll bring your years of craft beer sales experience and your proven track record of getting things done to this dogfish arena. You’ll work closely with our Regional Sales Managers as they go about their daily, weekly and monthly sales activities. You’ll lead, mentor, support, coach and train our sales people to help them grow and hit all sales and distribution objectives. You’ll support the development of local on & off premise account programs, execute successful distributor sales incentives, manage and track RSM budgets, and attend business reviews with distributors.  You’ll be doing all this and more and love every moment of it, representing dogfish in the marketplace!  You’ll be required to travel over 50% of the time to markets within your region. During the course of travel, you’ll be responsible for meeting with distributors, Regional Managers, and key retail customers. We are in hot pursuit to find the right individual for the following territories:

What You Need To Land This Gig:

 

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or other relevant discipline. You must have a minimum 5 years sales experience in the craft beer marketplace and must have managed, hired, and trained successful sales people. You’ll need to bring an assortment of top notch skills to the table in order to consistently deliver exceptional results.  Some of which include; strong leadership, excellent planning and execution, extreme organization, analytical mind, and technical savvyAnd your great decision making paired with your awesome problem-solving abilities will come in handy too. Your exceptional communication skills, industry knowledge & love for our beers will enable smooth sailing as you spark up a variety of conversations with your team, customers or fans!  You gotta be able to work late nights, early mornings, weekend and holidays as necessary to support sales activities. You must be able to maintain your sobriety and professionalism while working in environments where the taps may be flowing, and a clean driving record is essential.
