What This Entails:

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is growing our dynamic Marketing team and searching for our next best great addition! We’re seeking a Creative Manager to lead the creative direction for all design mediums ensuring consistency of the dogfish aesthetic while also leading our incredible creative team aimed at exceptional, on-target output for our delicious brandYou’ll need to bring your years of exceptional people leadership and strong creative oversight to this brew kettle, as all things Dogfish: people, products, and experiences, are near and dear to our hearts. You’ll be the point person ensuring amazing innovation work across all advertising mediums, to include packaging, traditional, social or TBD.You’ll also be a collaborator, growing partnerships with fellow Marketing peers and coworkers, as well as cross-departmentally with Sales and other teamacross the organization.  You’ll need the chops to tackle challenges, fine tune processes with input and craft solutions with buy-in to be executed across various platforms both internally and externally as well. Plus our hospitality team will need some of your TLC too, ensuring the Dogfish brand is fully carried out to the high Dogfish standards. You’ll also work with outside creative agencies as needed, although the bulk of original work is done in-house. Leadership is a big deal at Dogfish and we need the right individual who derives joy from guiding, inspiring and removing obstacles for the amazingly talented creative team we are assembling.  You must bring your fabulous off-centered personality into the mix as you join forces with incredible co-workers throughout all Dogfish organizations. What You Need To Land This Gig:

The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Biz or other relevant discipline. You must have a minimum 10 years of progressive experience in an agency or in-house creative team managing at least five people at one time. Your deep knowledge of analog and digital communications platforms of print, packaging, social, retail promotions, video, mobile is a super must for our ever growing brand. You need to be comfortable interpreting loose ideas through dialoguing and collaborating prior to mapping the you-know-what out of them for executing.  You’ll be looked upon to ensure the pipeline of projects are moving; your planning, organizing and analyzing skills and abilities need to be on point.  You must have the full gamut of exceptional communication skills, including written, spoken, inter-personal and rapport-building including presentation skills. We also seek an analytical mind that can provide recommendations based off sales data and consumer trends. Super strong Mac skills is pretty doggone essential; exposure to project management software is a plus.  The very best candidates will have the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience side of things, while also bringing a really strong sense of who we are and aren’t, what we’re about, how you’d plug in and why we were made for each other.
