Sr Analyst Ad Sales Research Estimates
Support Estimates and Analytics team for Discovery networks by creating and reporting on projections which will be used to forecast DCI’s revenue planning. Track network performance and trends utilizing Nielsen systems.
1. Closely monitor and track network series and dayparts daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly as well as major competitors utilizing Nielsen Media Research systems.
2. Create estimates by tracking network performance and revising when needed.
3. Provide support to Research Management in formulation insights and recommendations.
2-3 years’ experience in media research at either a cable network or similar national media outlet.
Ability to learn new software quickly.
Ability to translate research findings into cohesive e-mails, one sheets and presentations.
Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities and knowledge of basic statistics required.
Top communication skills both oral and written a must.
Excellent proofreading abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment without sacrificing accuracy and attention to detail.
Candidate will also possess high level of maturity and professionalism and must demonstrate ability to function in a team environment.
Computer proficiency mandatory including in-depth knowledge of spreadsheet and graphics packages (preferably Excel and PowerPoint).
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
