Designer

Position Summary

The Designer will directly support the Ad Sales Design Team in designing various Ad Sales and Marketing projects. This candidate must have previous design experience with a strong focus on motion graphics, presentation design, and print layout. The Designer must be highly organized and possess skills in Adobe AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint. Great interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work as a team on time-sensitive projects while maintaining a calm, team-oriented professional work environment are integral to this position.

Responsibilities

1. Work directly with Senior Designer and the Ad Sales Design Team to conceptualize, design, and deliver sales materials (Motion graphics/animations, PowerPoint presentations, digital/print projects, e-mail blasts, digital/print invitations, newsletters, etc.)
2. Become proficient in cloud-based presentation software tool
3. Maintain open communication with supervisor and team members at all times
4. Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident

Requirements

Excellent visual design fundamentals including motion graphics, composition, color theory, typography
Thorough understanding of graphics file creation and optimization
Hands on experience in designing business presentations and corporate promotional material
Professional demeanor, strong time management and organizational skills
Expert knowledge and experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint
Experience in Final Cut Pro/Adobe Premiere and broadcast/television technical specs and video encoding a plus
3D animation skills highly valued
Ability to remain calm under high-pressure deadlines and situations while upholding staff and client expectations
Excellent collaboration skills
Self-starter with ability to work independently
Mac/PC proficient
Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Four Year college degree (Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or Motion Graphics Design preferred)
* 3-5 years of professional design experience (cable/broadcast, design, advertising, or entertainment industry experience preferred)
