Associate Producer - Branded Ent

Position Summary

Investigation Discovery’s Branded Entertainment Team is searching for a dynamic Associate Producer specializing in branded entertainment ideation and production. Associate Producer will primarily be in charge of overseeing production of taggable elements as well as coming up with creative ideas that merge Investigation Discovery’s brand and series and ad sales clients. Additional responsibilities on Destination America and American Heroes Channel as assigned. Ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience and will present exceptional copywriting skills, a track record of big ideas, and experience working in an edit suite.

Responsibilities

1. Write and oversee the production of branded entertainment elements primarily for Investigation Discovery, but also for Destination America and American Heroes Channel as directed.
2. Ideation for Investigation Discovery, Destination America and American Heroes Channel in conjunction with our Ad Sales Solutions teams as well as other departments within the MIDAS group of networks

Requirements

Strong copywriting skills a must.
Strong idea creation/brainstorming skills.
Supervise edit sessions and voiceover sessions.
 Candidate must have musical knowledge and be able to pick tracks for promos from provided music libraries.
 A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
A minimum of two years experience writing and producing promotion, marketing and/or integrated contentprojects for broadcast or cable television and/or digital or social media platforms.
Proven copywriting and producing skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of digital/social media platfroms is desired.
Must be well organized, capable of handling several projects simultaneously, have the ability to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
