This position reports to the SVP and is located in Woodland Hills, CA.

 

The Role
Position will support the SVP and will be responsible for scheduling, making travel plans, ordering supplies, processing invoices and tracking budgets. Position also responsible for special projects as directed. Candidate needs to be an online video and social media professional with a proven ability to grow views, audience engagement, and subscribers by optimizing every aspect of video consumption, cross-promotion and social experience.

Responsibilities

1. Perform administrative duties and proactively support day to day operations.
2. Answer telephone, screen and route calls, respond to internal and external inquiries and provide routine information within scope of authority.
3. Schedule, organize and coordinate internal and external meetings.
4. Arrange travel itineraries and prepare travel and expense reports.
5. Schedule appointments, maintain and update calendar daily.
6. Review, route and disseminate interoffice and external mail. Provide data entry and clerical support.
7. Responsible for handling confidential and sensitive information and must be able to do so in a professional & appropriate manner.
8. Design and execute a social media strategy for the DeFranco Network with a focus on brand and audience growth, including tactics to drive subscriptions, views, shares and engagement. Manager will adjust his/her strategies by testing and researching new tactics and building best practices towards a long-term goal of building a loyal community.
9. Research trending stories and pitch ideas for content, including curating articles daily for Philip DeFranco’s blog TodayinAwesome.com.
10. Manage all social media pages for the Philip DeFranco Network.
11. Be a multi-platform expert, staying current with product updates, across Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Google+, Snapchat, Vine, and more.
12. Respond and interact with fans across social media properties.
13. Provide regular reporting based on audience size and engagement metrics to measure growth and inform ongoing strategy shifts.

Requirements

Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to assess priorities.
Candidate must be articulate, detail-oriented, and have strong organizational and administrative management skills.
Strong computer skills (e.g. Windows, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, Calendar Creator and Power Point.
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Must be capable managing multiple social media platforms, primarily YouTube and Facebook.
Must be a driven and curious self-starter who can identify areas for improvement.
Loves YouTube and social media!
Thrives in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
Must be able to work well in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners on all aspects of creative.
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
