We are looking for a talented, ambitious, highly-energized executive to form part of a transformation within the Discovery US Hispanic Ad Sales team. In order to compete in today’s more challenging market, we’ll be aggressively expanding our presence by opening many more doors and establishing more touch-points in the marketplace.
1. Generate/increase revenue of new and existing accounts
2. Own, manage, and develop relationships with clients, agencies and advertisers through day- to-day interactions; actively grow industry relationships in order to gain marketplace intelligence
3. Understand customer needs and look for opportunities to develop monetize-able creative solutions
4. Create compelling sales presentations and execute sales calls with agency planning/buying groups and clients to secure business, utilizing rate card guidelines and keeping the network’s best inventory interests in mind
5. Manage accounts from proposal through post-analysis
6. Ensure clients receive superior customer service
7. Lead, develop, motivate and mentor support team.
Minimum of 3 years selling experience in Cable or Broadcast Ad Sales, experience incorporating digital extensions preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Bilingual Spanish/ English preferred
Strong presentation and customer service skills
Must have legal right to work in the United States
