TITLE: Lead Data Science Analyst
DUTIES: Discover Products Inc. seeks Lead Data Science Analyst in Riverwoods, IL to lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics including customer segmentation, optimization, prescriptive analytics and machine learning algorithm and recommendations to solve business problems. Operate as a subject matter expert on statistical analysis, test and design experiment, analysis methodology, modeling and application and financial impact analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations. Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership, creating visual displays of quantitative information. Establish and maintains effective performance tracking. Identify improvement opportunity from hypothesis and proposes, designs and implements tests to drive strategy enhancement and optimization. Manage multiple priorities and communicates business performance and project progress to management and business partners. Develop and automates reports, iteratively builds and prototypes dashboards to provide insights at scale, solving for analytical needs. Facilitate accurate implementation of work product and ensures performance is as expected. Escalate unexpected results in an expedited manner. Consistently follow standard work processes and documentation requirements. Recommend improvement to work processes to increase efficiency while maintaining quality of work. Continuously improve technical and leadership skills through training and development. Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance or related and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related: performing data analyses and reporting; preparing presentations for senior management; performing data collection, manipulation and analysis using technologies including SAS, SQL and R. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills.
