Job Description
The General Business Internship Program (GBIP) is an exciting 12 week internship, for highly motivated individuals who are interested in gaining a foundational understanding of the many facets of the financial services industry, particularly pertaining to the direct banking, credit card payments businesses. As a GBIP, you will be immersed in a culture focused on creating end to end customer value through breakthrough strategies and continuous improvement. You will work cross-functionally with teams on projects directly aligned with the company's 5-year strategic plan. You will be encouraged to be curious and challenge the status quo while using data and analytics to help solve problems and drive innovation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Program, with a scheduled senior year completion date between December 2021 and June 2022.
  • A minimum of a 3.0 GPA on 4.0 grade point average scale
  • Business related disciplines are helpful, but all majors are eligible for consideration.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate ideas into clear priorities
  • High energy and intellectual curiosity
  • Strong analytical skills and a consultative approach to addressing customer needs
  • Strong business acumen, knowledge of financial industry, risk management, and business metrics
  • Proficiency in SQL, SAS
  • Proficiency in visual data management, i.e. Excel, Tableau
  • Experience with Digital Design and Customer User Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively
  • Ability to apply previous experience and knowledge to new situations and problems
  • A strong interest in marketing, operations, data and analytics, and process improvement is highly preferred
  • Operates as a team player
