What We're Looking For

Dia&Co is looking for a talented Stylist with a strong portfolio for its E-Commerce commercial photography studio in Indiana. The ideal candidate will ensure that the highest quality styling of a variety of apparel are produced and have strong working knowledge on styling a variety of textiles and fabrics. Stylist will help towards continual process improvements and styling efficiencies, while working closely with the Photographer and other members of the studio team and the operating teams in the warehouse where studio is located. Stylist should demonstrate the ability to raise the creative bar through commercially relevant imagery.

Responsibilities:

  • Run daily sets while maintaining positive energy in studio at all times
  • Troubleshoot styling challenges on-set using knowledge of Dia’s business objectives and visual brand merchandising
  • Meet studio productivity goals and assist with implementing process improvements to better meet these goals
  • Follow studio style guide to style a wide variety of fabrics and styles with focus on high quality, balanced with efficiency and productivity
  • Provide style guide needs to studio manager as well as any necessary documentation in styling division
  • Strive to continuously raise the bar of imagery for Dia’s visual aesthetic and merchandising standards
  • Act as point person for freelance stylists by exhibiting the required expectations to support quality and productivity
  • Partner with merchandising teams to collaborate on specific styles/fabrics to get information on fit and style necessary to meet customer needs

You

(Preferred)

  • Previous experience working in a commercial studio
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of workflow including prioritization
  • Demonstrated experience working on multiple tasks at varying stages of completion under tight deadlines
  • Excitement for working in a culture of continuous change and growth
  • Obsession with driving company goals and values

(Nice to Have)

  • have excellent written and oral communication in English
  • have professional styling experience in a commercial photography studio
  • have a specialized styling ability, such as advanced fashion or visual merchandising
  • have a professional portfolio that demonstrates expertise in applied styling techniques
  • have an exceptional eye for detail
  • have knowledge of commercial studio workflow
  • have proficient working knowledge of PC computing platforms, including Microsoft Office
  • have the ability to multitask across multiple sets and tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
