What We’re Looking For:

We're looking for an experienced and visionary Merchandising leader to build Dia Brands. As a leader on the Merchandising team, you will own building our product offering and bringing to life the best product in the industry. You will share our passion and commitment to offering our customers beautiful, high quality, and great value clothing.  The right person will be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, loves solving problems and can thrive in an fast-changing startup culture where agility and cross-functional collaboration is paramount.

What You'll Do: 

 Owning and driving growth in Dia Brands P&L

  • Building our assortment and developing category and brand revenue growth strategies
    • Digging deep into customer insights, performance data and market trends to help inform the assortment
    • Understanding core drivers of product performance and working closely with Data Science to predict customer needs
    • In partnership with Design team you will identify new market opportunities and prepare business cases for expansion strategy
    • Partner with Planning to create a data-driven assortment plan for each brand
  • Driving execution of product selection and merchandising related to Dia’s Brands
    • Creating seasonal strategies and cohesive line plans across and within brand portfolios
    • Collaborating closely with Design to curate compelling and on-trend collections
    • Working with Marketing and Styling teams to present product to customers with cohesive branding and impeccable styling 

Building strong and lasting vendor relationships and optimizing our vendor portfolio

  • Working with Sourcing & Product Development teams to optimize our vendor portfolio
  • Leading significant business development efforts, including identifying new potential partners and opening new relationships

Ensuring best-in-class execution across all facets of buying, sourcing and merch operations

  • Building processes and tools to drive world class execution
  • Partner with Planning to ensure efficient inventory management processes

Building an effective and engaged team

  • Managing a team of Merchants while partnering with Planning and Design teams
  • Developing and motivating members with effective coaching and significant empowerment
  • Organizing and building the team for sustainable growth


  • 10+ years of experience in a merchandising role, with progressively increasing responsibility with a mix of experience across merchandising in both store and online verticals
  • Consumer-centric thinker with a passion for understanding how customers think and shop
  • Eye for style and passion for fashion
  • Are a self-starter with the ability to take initiative, ownership and accountability for the business
  • Exceptionally analytical and data-driven in your approach
  • Inspirational leader and strong team builder
  • Track record of successful negotiation and vendor management
  • Willing to travel on a monthly basis
