The Compliance Department protects the Bank by advising on ethical conduct, identifying regulatory solutions, safeguarding integrity and reputation, and promoting, in partnership with the business, a culture of Compliance. Given the increasing regulatory scrutiny and the need to implement a robust and globally consistent control framework, an effective Global Surveillance program is a key component to the Department’s success.

The Compliance Surveillance division is looking for a Communication/Voice Surveillance VP which will be responsible for Supervising and coordinating the surveillance of electronic and voice communications of Deutsche Bank Employees subject to Communications review

- Oversee and administer guidance to the staff to ensure adherence to process and escalations
- Ensure that the review process is complete, accurate and appropriate
- Work with other global team leads to ensure consistency in the process
- Prepare reports and presentations based on results from the weekly MI
- Establish additional processes to ensure all product coverage is maximized
- Perform weekly QA
- Respond to audit actions/deliverables
- Review Key Ops and Policy to ensure consistency and Completion
- Engage with third party vendors when necessary
- Engage with Legal, Senior Compliance Surveillance, Business Line Advisory, as well as the Business on correspondence that requires escalation and further review
- Review trending reports and Cases detecting manipulative trends or other issue
- Compile and review required data from multiple sources in order to respond to Regulatory inquiries
- Perform research and investigations regarding potential findings

- You will have previous relevant experience, with a strong understanding of financial markets, products, and processes
- Surveillance, Audit, Front Office, and Regulatory experience a plus
- Ability to manage/direct small team
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and must be comfortable in presenting and explaining analysis
- Must be detailed oriented, interested in the markets, current events, and financial news
- Team player with great attitude and work ethic and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task on several different assignments/projects, works well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong research, investigation, and analytical skills

- Ability to work autonomously, and within team
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task and change directions based on business demands
