The Treasury Production Services team is responsible for the production support of a wide range of applications utilizing a varied technology set which help meet critical business outcomes for the Bank, relating to liquidity risk, stress testing and interest rate risk. We use a combination of in-house developed and industry standard third-party platforms/applications /products which are part of the Treasury architecture. There are approximately 25 applications covered by the team, with a distinct user base of 1000+ across the globe.
You will be responsible for ensuring a stable and continuous service availability for a range of Treasury applications and you will also face off to business users and resolve technical issues they report. One such application requiring particular focus is QRM (Quantitative Risk Management) which helps calculate the Bank's interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB).

Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on technical support services across the entire Treasury Markets application portfolio, including QRM. Manage incidents through to resolution keeping all stakeholders abreast of the situation and working to minimize impact wherever possible
Build up technical subject matter expertise on the applications being supported including business flows, the application architecture and the hardware configuration. Ensure incidents and service requests submitted by the Treasury users are resolved to the best of L2's ability and ensure any escalations to L3 are kept to an absolute minimum
Help to conduct post-mortems of incidents and drive relevant feedback into incident, problem and change management processes. Build and maintain effective and productive relationships with the business stakeholders, engineering colleagues, vendor teams and infrastructure & third party systems/data providers
Help to strengthen the SRE-type support service by becoming a champion of our production readiness criteria for deliveries into production. Assist in the process to approve all new releases and production configuration changes, keep stakeholders informed and conduct any release tasks assigned to support. Ensure all knowledge is documented and that support run books and knowledge articles are kept up to date. Automate these runbooks where possible/feasible
Provide weekend support coverage on a rotational basis and also work in shifts as part of a rotating coverage for APAC and EMEA hours between 07:00 IST and 21:00 IST (2 shifts)
Your Skills and Experience:
Experience in providing IT support and interacting with application end users and working in large corporate environments/financial institutions - preferably investment banking
Experience using operating systems such as UNIX, Linux and Wintel from the command line interface. Knowledge of commands need to navigate, troubleshoot issues and provide status of these systems
Ability to write scripts and utilities to help with the reduction of manual tasks and interventions through automation
Experienced in influencing/engaging stakeholders to understand/support production strategy, risks or challenges. A good problem solver with very good analytical skills. Able to deliver results, measure success and seek to continually develop professional performance
The ability to write SQL to extract and patch data in relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, Sybase) as well as monitor database health and performance. Experience configuring monitoring and scheduling tools such as Geneos, Splunk, AppDynamics and Control
